Where Am I Going?

Ever since I signed up for the 2011 3-Day almost a year ago, I've wondered where the three days of walking would take me. At first, all I knew was that I'd be walking somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area. That leaves a lot of territory on the table!

Then, in mid-June, I learned the locations for the Opening and Closing ceremonies. But how would we get from Cow Palace to Marina Green? Where would our increasingly tired feet take us along the way?

Late last week, more details became available, and now I have a much better idea of where I'll be going once the three day begins in 25 days (not like I'm counting or anything . . .). If you are interested, read on.

One of the most interesting things to me is that we'll be camping out on an island in San Francisco Bay, arriving and departing by ferry each day. No, no, not that island! Please see the three blog postings below for details of my upcoming San Francisco adventure.
