Earlier today, I made hotel reservations for the nights I'll be staying in San Francisco when I'm not sleeping in a tent. I'll be staying at the Courtyard San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf. The location will provide a nice home base for exploring in the days leading up to the 3-Day and is conveniently located just a short distance from Marina Green, where the Closing Ceremonies will be held.
The hotel confirmed that it will store a bag for me while I'm walking. Otherwise, I would have had to lug all of my non-3-Day clothes along with me during the walk, which would have presented a problem, as there is a baggage weight limit for the event.
Next up: The arrival in the mail of my event credentials, sometime in August.
