Thank You

In just about eight hours, I'll be on a plane, flying out to San Francisco for the 2011 Breast Cancer 3-Day, which begins on Friday.

Before I leave for this adventure, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for everything you have given me over these months of training and also for your continued thoughts and prayers during the upcoming days.

Together, we have raised $6326, and thanks to you, we are that much closer to the day a cure for breast cancer is found. I look forward to celebrating with you then.

In the meantime, please know that your generous gifts, in addition to funding research, are also providing support to those currently fighting the disease.

I can tell you, with certainty, that your gift will safe someone's life. There are two kinds of people in the world--those who know someone with breast cancer and those who will--so it is only a matter of time before your contribution will touch both the life of a stranger and the life of a friend.

Whether you have supported my efforts with your financial contributions, with your friendship, with your confidence in me, with your good wishes, with your encouragement, with lunch along my training walks, by reading this blog, or all of these and more, you have my forever thanks.
