Today was another rescheduled AWS day off for me. Yay! My typical schedule is to have every other Monday off, but for the past few weeks, Monday meetings have prevented this from happening. Although I spent some of the day doing catch-up work reading, I also had enough time to take a walk. I was amazed at the number of people out and about on the bike trail. Do these people work? What do they do all day? I suppose they could have been wondering the same about me, but I'm always surprised to see so many people not in the office.
I didn't bring my camera with me on today's walk (I know you may find this shocking), so you'll just have to believe me when I say I walked to and from Roosevelt Island, covering 10 miles. It was a great mid-week walk!
I've noticed this too Diana--when I'm home for part or all of a day--all these shoppers and bikers and walkers...maybe they work nights? Good job walking!!!
ReplyDeleteI think part of it is tourists, but when I was on shift work, I noticed a lot of people out and about when I was out and about (running, biking, etc.) I look forward to your pics next time!
